G’day Gang,

Thought you might be interested in this little gem on SBC by the South Australian Police Online Journal. < http://www.policejournalsa.org.au/0406/22a.php > You could be forgiven for thinking this was written by police in 1878. One statement is that Ned told the whole story to Aaron Sherritt and when Sherritt conveyed that to police, it verified McIntyre’s account of what happened. Another is that after Kennedy was wounded, the Gang sat in front, taunting him and discussing what to do with him. Dan Kelly put a gun to Kennedy’s chest several times and threatened to pull the trigger and Kennedy with sheer contempt, pushed it aside. Dan then put the gun to his chest again and calmly pulled the trigger. Sounds like the author, Allan L. Peters was there at the time! The whole piece is nothing but fabrication and manipulation of the facts, something the police are experts at.

Needless to say I sent of an email pointing out these discrepancies and no doubt will get the same response from them as I have in the past, so I won’t hold my breath waiting.

G'day Gang,

I think I did post about this before several years ago, though on another website.

If I'm lucky enough to get a reply, I'll certainly pass it on
